New Years Charity Concert at Dobbs Ferry Dental Hall
On December 31st, Composers Unveiled Director, Joshua Lee organized a charity concert at Dobbs Ferry Dental Hall. We raised $630 dollars, all of which will be sent to the Dominican Republic for children in need.
Composer’s Unveiled Wind Ensemble/Composer Database
Director Joshua Lee was able to create a expansive database of Wind Ensemble and Orchestral pieces composed by Underrepresented/Hidden composers.
Composer’s Unveiled Spotlight Series
Joshua Lee helped found a Composers Spotlight series where they highlight Composers who deserve more publicity on their Instagram @composersunveiled.
Composer’s Unveiled Concert @ MSM
Composers Unveiled is a new student-led organization, started by Precollege piano student Joshua Lee, whose mission is to bring under-represented composers and unsung repertoire into the spotlight through performances, interviews, and social media. Their first concert will take place on April 6th, 2024 at 9 am in Miller Hall. Performers will work with professional mentors to prepare for the concert.
