Texu Kim

Korean-born American composer Texu Kim writes music inspired by everyday experiences, music about modern (south) Korea reflecting its multicultural nature.

Patricia Molina

Named "a gifted artist" by the New York Times, Dr. Patricio Molina has gained a reputation as a composer, pianist, and educator. Patricio regularly appears on stages such as Carnegie Hall and OPERA America. Dr. Molina is a Yamaha Artist.

Emily Koh

Emily Koh's music reimagines everyday experiences by sonically expounding tiny oft-forgotten details, and explores binary states such as extremities/boundaries and activity/stagnation.

Miguel de Aguila

Three-time Grammy nominated contemporary American composer Miguel del Aguila creates distinctive, innovative modern classical music highly influenced by his Latin American roots. His creative, rhythm-driven works blend tradition with modernity with drama and nostalgic nods to his South American Hispanic heritage.

Juhi Bansal

The music of Juhi Bansal weaves together themes celebrating musical and cultural diversity, nature and the environment, and strong female role models. As an Indian composer brought up in Hong Kong, her work draws subtly upon both those traditions, entwining them closely and intricately with the gestures of western classical music.

Matthew Pelegrino

Matthew Jihoon Pellegrino is an award-winning composer, Fulbright researcher, and devoted music educator. He has enjoyed an eclectic musical upbringing; one which combines Western classical, traditional Korean music, and a brief stint in a metal band. Uncompromising in his work, Pellegrino seeks to create music that engages equally with casual audiences as well as the most serious of listeners.

Ka Shu Tam

Based in Hong Kong, Tam Ka-Shu (Kenneth) derives his musical inspiration from the sounds of daily life. His music is known for its intricate timbre and fluid linearity and encompasses a broad range of genres, including traditional music and multimedia works.

Bryon Black II

Bryon K. Black II (b. 1989) is an active choral conductor and composer. He is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Conducting at the University of South Carolina. He also has extensive work in church music, serving in Presbyterian, Methodist, Lutheran, and United Methodist churches.

Jin Hi Kim

Jin Hi Kim, innovative komungo virtuoso, Guggenheim Fellow composer, and United States Artist Fellow, has performed as a soloist in her own compositions at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and around the world. She is known as a pioneer for introducing komungo (geomungo) into the American contemporary music scene and for extensive solo performances on the world’s only electric komungo with live interactive computer programs in her large-scale multimedia performance pieces such as Ghost Komungobot, and Touching The Moons.
